Having built its reputation in the industry as an Event that aids businesses in leveraging market and connecting and collaborating with potential partners, TechTextil Mumbai is a leading international exhibition for technical textiles and nonwovens. Showcasing the vertical aspects of the technical textile industry, the exhibition facilitates technical textile buyers and suppliers to expand their market horizons. Fibre2Fashion and Messe Frankfurt India jointly organized a Buyer-Seller Meet during Techtextil India 2017 to provide additional support to the exhibitors.
As a part of the pre-Event activities for BSM, we identified and invited top-notch buyers from relevant government institutions, such as road authorities, NHAI authorities, agricultural institutions, various ports etc. and private entities. The prominent medium of communication included personal visits to authorities, calls and shooting emailers and invitation letters.
During the Event, we deployed a team to welcome the invited dignitaries and visitors at the fair. We shared the activity schedule with relevant exhibitors right from Day One. The meetings with respective exhibitors at the booth, VIP lounge and the meeting room was scheduled well in advance.
More than 25 dignitaries from reputed government institutions and private entities under Geotextile, Packaging Textile, Agro Textile, Infrastructure Textile and Automotive Textile, amongst others marked their presence at the fair. s
International Apparel and Textile Fair, one of the most renowned trade fairs, is held twice every year in the UAE. Designed to maximize business growth opportunities and build partnerships, IATF is one of the most-awaited trade fairs. To build more awareness for its fair in November 2017, the organizers collaborated with Fibre2Fashion.
The major objective of the campaign was to achieve maximum leverage and attract major participation for the fair through our various promotional tools.
We initially started with promotions via banners on targeted sections, such as ‘Fabrics’ and ‘Trade Fairs’ on both desktop and mobile platforms. Slowly as the campaign started gaining traction, we created a microsite, with a simple one-page information about the fair, exhibitors and visitors. Incorporating a user-friendly ‘Contact Us’ form, we were able to generate a lot of inquiries.
Monthly emailer rounds to filtered and responsive database helped the brand gain more exposure. Besides this, other marketing efforts, such as push notifications to subscribers and text ads on ‘News’ section also helped the fair create pre-Event buzz.
CITPE has been held successfully for 11 times since 2006 in Shanghai, Suzhou, Dongguan and Guangzhou. CITPE 2017 paid emphasis on the challenges faced by the textile printing industry. Roping in industry experts from around the world, CITPE 2017 shed light on crucial subjects through various industry and technology forums, networking Events and product displays.
To promote its 2017 fair in Guanghzou, CITPE team collaborated with Fibre2Fashion.
The campaign was promoted online for over a period of two months through various activities. We made sure to build a lot of visibility for the campaign through our highest visited sections - Homepage and News. To grab the attention of niche audience and generate more inquiries, we used the social media platforms, such as LinkedIn and Facebook effectively. All the banners were redirected to the landing page that we had exclusively created, and the page was promoted using an inquiry pop-up on Articles page. Doing so helped gain immense traction on the landing page. Monthly emailers to filtered and responsive database further aided in maximizing awareness regarding the campaign
